Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage the Artwork Department: Ensure high-quality and visually appealing designs that align with our brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Collaborate with Clients and Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, brand identity, and target audience.
- Set Creative Direction: Provide guidance and feedback to the team to ensure that designs effectively communicate the desired message.
- Manage the Artwork Process: Oversee the entire artwork process, from concept development to final production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and new software/tools, and implement them to enhance the artwork department's capabilities.
- Build Relationships with Vendors and Freelancers: Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and freelancers, ensuring the timely and cost-effective production of outsourced artwork projects.
- Develop and Enforce Artwork Processes: Develop and enforce artwork-related processes and standards to optimize efficiency and consistency within the department.
- Mentor and Guide the Artwork Team: Mentor and guide the artwork team, providing ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and opportunities for growth.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in artwork development, with a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Skills: Strong artistic abilities, with a keen eye for detail, composition, color theory, and typography. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate ideas with diverse stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous artwork designs and projects.
