Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored education plans, ensuring students receive the best possible support.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behavior and promoting social and communication skills.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing learning materials and maintaining student records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability in responding to the individual needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent, are desirable but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational strategies.
