About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant at GSL Education, you'll play a vital role in empowering students with unique learning needs to reach their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers and educational professionals to implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's individual requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning styles and challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive and effective support system for each student.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) designed to meet specific learning goals.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student well-being and engagement.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents on their achievements and areas for growth.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to creating a nurturing learning environment.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work effectively as part of a dedicated teaching team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
