Production Coordinator Mars Wrigley - Day Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team at Mars Wrigley in Plymouth. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production process to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize workflows.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory levels and quality control metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership or coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and workflows, including inventory management and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
