Excellence in Neonatal Intensive Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Fellow to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neonatal Intensive Care, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise and skills in tertiary level neonatal intensive care.

This is an exciting 6-month fellowship (with potential to extend) for a suitably qualified candidate to receive training and experience in NICU. The post holder will have a named educational supervisor and be mentored and supported by sub-speciality education leads for NICU.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Developing education, simulation training, and neonatal transport skills dependent on the applicants' interests
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff members

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months' experience at ST4+/SpR level or equivalent in neonatal medicine, be registered with the GMC, and eligible to work in the UK.

Requirements
  • MB, ChB or equivalent; GMC registration or eligible for GMC registration
  • Full MRCPCH or equivalent
  • NLS or equivalent provider
  • BSc
  • Higher degree (MD or PhD)
  • ARNI and/or APLS provider
  • NLS and/or ANRI instructor

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £61,825 - £70,425 per annum, pro rata. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and flexible working arrangements.
