About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 6 Acute Adult Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a locum opportunity. The successful candidate will have post graduate experience working with acute adult dysphagia patients and will be able to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to acute adult patients with dysphagia
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide treatment to patients with dysphagia
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research in speech and language therapy
Requirements
  • HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Valid HCPC registration
  • Dysphagia Training and Competencies completed
  • NQP (Newly Qualified Practitioner) competencies completed
  • Post graduate experience working with dysphagia patients
