Speech and Language Therapist - Dysphasia Opportunity

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our inpatient team in a hospital in Slough. The successful candidate will provide a speech and language therapy service to adults with dysphasia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in dysphasia to patients and colleagues
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need
  • Design and deliver therapy sessions to address dysphasia-related challenges
Requirements:
  • Recognized Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • HCPC Licence to Practice and registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • 6 months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
