Speech and Language Therapist - Dysphasia

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our inpatient team in a hospital in Slough.

The successful candidate will provide a speech and language therapy service to adults with dysphasia, utilizing their specialist knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 1 year of experience post-qualification, dysphasia competencies, and a HCPC registration.

The position is Monday to Friday, full-time, with a competitive hourly rate of 28.50.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to adults with dysphasia
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of the speech and language therapy service
Requirements:
  • Recognized Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
