Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintenance of portable Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets, and Hose Reels for our customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets, and Hose Reels
  • Understand and comply with BS5306:3, BS5306:9, and BS306:8 standards
  • Be available for call-out rota and work independently as part of a team
  • Develop strong customer relationships and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and colleagues
  • Assist lead engineers in completing multi-discipline works and ensure compliance with quality procedures and documentation
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the fire protection industry or Extinguisher industry
  • Ability to use hand tools and work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship builder with internal and external partners
  • Organized, punctual, and professional appearance
  • Driving license is essential
