Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Sustainability Leadership Professional to join our team in GB&I. As a key member of our EHS Management Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise on environmental, health, and safety matters across our business.
In this role, you will define and maintain high operational EHS standards, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulations, as well as industry standards such as ISO14001 and ISO45001. You will also develop strategic mid- and long-term improvement plans, support teams in achieving safe Gemba, and lead EHS incident management through effective decision-making, communication, and RCA investigations.
You will drive our regional EHS Zero Harm strategy by rolling out our DSS+ safety leadership program and ensure that capital investments align with EHS requirements. Additionally, you will manage ~£2.5M annual overhead budget for EHS, contracted services, and safety training.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in operational EHS leadership, preferably within a FMCG role
- Strong technical understanding of legislative safety requirements, manufacturing plant design, and operational standards
- Experience of implementing and maintaining EHS Management systems and leading improvement/change programs across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience and use data to facilitate risk-based EHS decision-making
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus scheme, pension plan, and opportunities for professional development.
