The SID project brings together the strengths, capabilities, and knowledge of partners and Network Rail to own the renewals work bank and drive a transition to production management ethos.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join VolkerRail's Major Projects Department in Tonbridge with travel to London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly accounting, costing, contract, and financial information for inclusion in the monthly accounts package.
  • Brief the Project Manager on bill of quantities, specification, and contractual implications.
  • Liaise with Project Managers regarding ongoing costs, current position, and contract variations.
  • Liaise with Clients on costing information, notify clients of cost or specification variations, and gain authorisation.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager in tender enquiries, responses, and charging structures.
About You
  • Working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience in a commercial environment, preferably in Rail/Construction or related industry.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including private medical care, pension, life assurance, and cycle to work scheme.
