Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and credit card statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate the best possible terms and prices.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies, including accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AAT qualified or studying towards a relevant accounting qualification.
