Strategic Planning Lead

The Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) Pillar is a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's strategic direction. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business planning processes that align with the organization's corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the CTP Business Planning cycle, ensuring that business plans are aligned with corporate policies, strategies, and programs.
- Develop and maintain a robust framework for business planning, integrating planning tools and processes as required.
- Collaborate with CT Heads and Capability leads to identify problems and opportunities for business planning, ensuring a holistic understanding of the organization's needs.
- Support the development and delivery of business plans, ensuring a clear line of sight between strategy and delivery.
- Establish close working relationships with HQ pillars, particularly HR and Finance, to develop and implement a framework for prioritized annual workforce plans, budget builds, and transformational change portfolios.
- Track and report progress against business plans on a quarterly basis, aligned to strategic priorities and performance.
- Provide a CTP Network-wide perspective on business planning processes to drive strategy and inform decision-making.
- Task and direct SPP business analysts to support various elements of the planning cycle and implementation of planning outcomes.
- Lead and support governance boards in support of the business planning cycle, ensuring effective allocation and oversight of CT Grant across the network.
- Build relationships and work flexibly with stakeholders across the network to embed awareness and ensure consistent ways of working and high-quality outputs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent business planning and strategy skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex projects and processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
