Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the client's Drupal website, ensuring it is industry-leading and meets the needs of their business.
  • Provide technical direction on all aspects of the development lifecycle, selecting appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for features or system design, aligned with business goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and drive innovation, ensuring the company stays ahead of the curve.
  • Write high-quality code and uphold coding standards, code reviewing and implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Oversee project timelines for new features and enhancements, working closely with the Head of Digital.
  • Ensure the site performs optimally with minimal downtime and fast page load times, keeping technical debt low and ensuring an excellent user experience.
  • Design and implement the website's architecture, ensuring it is scalable and secure.
