Join Our Team as a Geoscience Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bespoke numerically orientated geoscience projects to assist decision-making in developing the subsurface, focusing on modelling flow and fluid migration processes.
  • Assist with the development of software solutions within the global geoscience modelling team.
  • Be proactive in collaborating with WSP's global practice area networks to seek opportunities.
  • Maintain close links with commercial clients, including delivering software training courses.
  • Support business development and write proposals to grow our portfolio of modelling projects.
  • Produce high-quality technical reports and deliver presentations.
  • Communicate project deliverables to clients and advocate for our modelling services.
Requirements
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in a Mathematics, Engineering, Earth Science, or Physics-related field.
  • Background in sourcing, winning, and delivering consulting projects commercially.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or similar.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent scientific writing ability, with experience in producing high-quality technical reports.
  • Consulting experience in delivering geoscience-related projects in target sectors.
  • Experience in software development in languages such as Fortran, C++, or Java.
  • Experience in data management using SQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Project Management skills.
