At Apple Inc., we're revolutionizing human-computer interaction with groundbreaking technology. As a Data Engineer for our Siri Response / Text-to-Speech (TTS) team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering delightful customer experiences with Siri voices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and centralize data from various sources, working with internal teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Build processes and workflows that support data transformation for TTS systems, including audio processing and text annotation.
  • Provide datasets to partner teams, managing access and usage control.
  • Create interactive data exploration dashboards and develop tools to ensure quality and diagnose issues.
  • Perform analysis on external and internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' industry experience processing large-scale text/speech datasets for ML applications.
  • Strong expertise in Python, NoSQL databases, cloud-based data technologies, and working with large datasets and pipelines.
  • Experience in tooling and streamlining workflows in complex processes.
  • Highly-motivated, creative, organized, and a strong problem solver.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
