This exciting opportunity sits within the Technical Education and Apprenticeships Hub, which provides cross-university strategic leadership for apprenticeships, technical education, and strategic partnership developments with colleges.
This key position will be responsible for overseeing the effective operational development and delivery of the university's expanding portfolio of higher and degree apprenticeships. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, the successful candidate will use their exceptional partnership working skills and strong experience of apprenticeship funding rules and regulations to establish and maintain robust business processes.
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have line management responsibility for the Apprenticeships Team and be tasked with ensuring an excellent customer service is provided to internal and external clients. To achieve this, you will need to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and key performance indicators.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record of managing the delivery of apprenticeships, ideally in a Higher Education (HE) or Further Education (FE) context;
- An understanding of the rapidly evolving policy landscape in skills and technical education;
- Experience of providing effective operational management of staff in a complex, fast-paced environment.
With a salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to join the University of Brighton and make a real impact in the field of apprenticeship delivery.
