About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Legal team at Yunex Traffic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing general commercial legal advice to our UK business, ensuring that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate legal risks within the company, providing pragmatic and proportionate advice to manage and mitigate such risks.
  • Prepare, negotiate, draft, revise, and finalise various contract documents, including standard terms, customer terms, and bespoke contracts.
  • Support the tendering team in relation to public procurement tender responses, ensuring that our bids are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advise on non-contentious contract, commercial, and procurement-related issues, including non-disclosure agreements.
  • Assist in the early stages of disputes and contract interpretation issues, providing expert advice to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business, including project teams, to identify mitigations and ensure compliance with internal governance processes.
  • Manage outside counsel on more complex matters, ensuring that our legal needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in law that impact our operations, providing proactive legal updates and training to the business.
