Job Description:

Astec Precision is looking for a highly skilled Technical Quality Expert to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality of our products by conducting regular inspections and testing.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality control and has a strong understanding of technical principles.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of products, components, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  2. Trend Analysis: Analyse data collected during inspections and testing to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  3. Recommendations: Provide recommendations for improvements based on analysis and inspection results.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Good GCE's or equivalent required. Technical qualification in quality control, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment such as micrometer, caliper, and gauge.
  4. Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
