About the Role

The core function of this role is to assist the General Manager in delivering exceptional race day and non-race day experiences for Jockey Club customers.

You will lead and inspire a team to optimize sales, profitability, and guest service underpinned by a structured approach and focus on compliance with relevant company policies, standards, and employment principles.

This role will oversee day-to-day operations at Epsom and support teams at other Jockey Club Catering venues within our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the General Manager to develop tactical plans and monitor progress.">
  • Own the delivery of consistent and exceptional product quality and service standards to achieve and exceed department targets.">
  • Drive a guest-focused culture by demonstrating knowledge and appreciation of hospitality standards and client needs.">
  • Regularly review and develop each department to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, staffing reviews, and consistency.">
  • Work with the Finance Manager to deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and P&Ls.">

About You

">

You will be a confident leader with senior management experience, inspiring large operational teams to deliver results.

A minimum of 5 years' experience at F&B management level is essential.

You will engage with clients, peers, and functional specialists, showcasing excellent communication skills and influencing stakeholder levels.

A positive and passionate focus on food, natural flair for hospitality, and solid experience in leading projects and change programs are required.

The estimated salary for this role is £47,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience.
