Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our Construction Team in Central Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all SPEN underground assets, as well as installing new connections and network investment works.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and resource Contracts to maximise profit and minimise costs.
  2. Develop strong working relationships with clients, project team members, and stakeholders.
  3. Deal with variations and valuations, ensuring timely submission and settlement.
  4. Oversee health, safety, quality, and environmental issues.
  5. Manage human resources, ensuring operatives are suitably trained and competent.
  6. Handle customer issues effectively.
  7. Maintain high-quality work standards.
  8. Control overtime and wages payments.
Requirements:
  1. Carry out pre-visit checks to ensure first-time cost-effective resolution on site.
  2. Hold technical civil construction knowledge under HAUC and NRSWA.
  3. Aware of SPEN Policies and procedures, including distribution power engineering.
  4. Commercial awareness and ability to work well under pressure.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Computer literacy and ability to motivate teams.
  7. Ensure compliance with all MES policies, procedures, and legislation.
