We are seeking a skilled Urban Planner to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. as a Community Development Specialist on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension. **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Uphold Company Values and Behaviours**: Demonstrate a commitment to upholding the values and behaviours of Brackenberry Ltd. at all times.
- **Manage Community Projects**: Oversee the management of community projects, including planning and coordination with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- **Support Community Development**: Collaborate with the Communal Supervisor/Surveyor to deliver an effective community development service, including the coordination of communal repairs and maintenance.
- **Coordinate Community Requests**: Receive and process community requests for repairs and maintenance, and ensure that job orders are placed with contractors in a timely manner.
- **Monitor Progress**: Regularly monitor progress and ensure that all actions and variations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
**Requirements:**
- **Qualifications**: Hold a minimum of GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
- **Communication Skills**: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate competency in spoken and written English.
**Important Notes:**
- **Availability**: Be available to start work immediately or at short notice.
- **Right to Work**: Hold the right to work in the UK.
