Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Musculoskeletal Out-Patient Therapy Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and advise on patient care and treatment, working autonomously within the defined patient group.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to therapy staff, ensuring an integrated service is provided across the service area.
- Support the development, coordination, and evaluation of MSK pathways, working closely with other therapy leads.
- Offer expert clinical opinion within the field of MSK physiotherapy, providing guidance to therapy staff and other healthcare professionals.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience of managing a varied caseload of musculoskeletal conditions, previous experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, and a passion for MSK physiotherapy. You will also need to be able to interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate diagnoses and prognoses, and recommend the best course of intervention.
