Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. The successful candidate will work with children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs, providing reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide consultation, assessment, formulation, and therapy planning, including direct work with young people.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Holds current registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Has previous experience working with children and young people in residential care or a similar setting.
  • A car owner/driver is mandatory due to the nature of the role.
Benefits

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £45,000-£63,000 FTE, plus a car allowance of up to £3000 per annum for full-time applicants.
