Job Description:
Vitol, a leader in the energy sector, seeks an experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to support its traders, brokers, and originators in optimising business opportunities and representing the company in industry associations and institutions at national and international levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide regulatory support to commercial activities within Europe, including establishing new revenue streams.
• Develop analysis to understand the impact of policies and legal/regulatory proposals on the company and the market.
• Maintain records of key policy decisions and their related impact.
• Horizon-scan the industry landscape, creating awareness and responses to changes/threats/initiatives.
• Oversee power market relevant regulatory reporting requirements, including REMIT, for Utilities teams.

Requirements:
• Detailed knowledge of the current policy and regulatory environment.
• High-level strategic thinking and situational analysis capabilities.
• Exceptional track record building senior relationships across political and industrial stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrable track record of policy and strategy development in a commercial environment.
• Proven ability to engage and collaborate with key government and policy making bodies within the industry.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role.
