Data-Driven Problem Solver in Health Economics

Salary Range

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data-Driven Problem Solver to join our team. As a key member of our operational research group, you will be responsible for developing and applying advanced analytical models to inform business decisions.

Your primary focus will be on translating project objectives into mathematical and/or analytic models, effectively communicating proposed solutions internally and externally, and supporting the proposal, implementation, delivery, documentation, and communication of complex solutions.

You will work closely with other teams to identify potential efficiency savings and design and implement solutions to optimise workflow efficiency across the company.

In addition, you will collaborate with senior staff to develop analyses and provide technical leadership to support ongoing thought leadership and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Translate project objectives into mathematical and/or analytic models
  2. Effectively communicate proposed solutions internally and externally
  3. Support the proposal, implementation, delivery, documentation, and communication of complex solutions
  4. Work closely with other teams to identify potential efficiency savings and design and implement solutions to optimise workflow efficiency across the company
  5. Collaborate with senior staff to develop analyses and provide technical leadership to support ongoing thought leadership and marketing efforts
Requirements
  • MSc in Operational Research, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, MATLAB, or C++
  • Experience working with large datasets and designing and implementing data-driven solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
