A skilled Manual Machinist is sought to join our client's production team in their workshop near Ormskirk. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced tradespeople to produce high-quality products, using manual lathes and boring machines.

Duties
  • Set and operate workshop machinery, including manual lathes and boring machines
  • Work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality products
  • Provide basic service and maintenance to equipment
  • Quality check products to ensure they meet customer specifications
Qualifications and Experience
  • C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (essential)
  • Proven experience of working with a Manual Lathe (essential)
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings (essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Full drivers licence
