We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team, dedicated to providing quality services to children in care and their families. You will work closely with multi-agency networks to develop and review plans that address and mitigate concerns in a timely manner. Your expertise should span the range of statutory provisions, particularly working with Children in Care and those where Care Proceedings have been initiated.

Key Responsibilities:- Assess the needs of children and develop plans to support their wellbeing and relationships with their families.
- Work closely with multi-agency networks to develop and review plans that address and mitigate concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement holistic social work assessments to identify risk and need.
- Liaise with health and education professionals to develop support packages to support children with complex needs.
- Social Work qualification is essential and prior experience of working with children within care is desirable.
- Practical skills as a Social Worker will be supported by a working knowledge of the legislation that governs work with Children, including the Children's Act 1989 as amended, the Children's Act 2002, the Care Act 2014 and the Children and Families Act 2014.
- Expertise should span the range of statutory provisions, particularly working with Children in Care and those where Care Proceedings have been initiated.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding and ability to navigate multi-agency systems and processes effectively.
