Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for project managing the development of new products and improving existing ones, ensuring successful launches and meeting required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management and development of brand-new products and ensuring successful launches
  • Managing the improvement of existing products
  • Coordinating and completing product quality complaints
  • Managing the flow of new product developments using our New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Request (NPR) systems
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, Business Development, and the MD to meet required deadlines
  • Managing product information in NetSuite (online and internal ERP)
  • Keeping up to date with relevant British Standards

Requirements:

  • Experience/understanding of engineering, within an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Experienced in Innovation, with an innovative and analytical mindset
  • Project Management skills - a project management qualification would be an advantage
  • Good Communication and team work skills
  • A good problem solver
  • Programming skills such as CAD
  • An eye for detail
  • High level of self-motivation
