About the Role

We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team as a Sales Executive – Material Science & Energy Applications. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our innovative products into materials science and energy research laboratories across the UK and Europe.

You will work closely with our suppliers to provide a tailored product offering to customers, meeting their specific needs through a detailed, consultative, technical discussion. Your primary goal will be to meet sales targets, achieving this through proactive outreach to new customers via in-person and online sales meetings/calls.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for materials science and a strong understanding of the industry. You will be confident in meeting with a wide range of researchers, PIs, and becoming the main point of contact for customers within a defined geographical area.

Requirements:
  • BSc level or higher in Materials Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Physics, or related scientific disciplines.
  • Previous commercial/customer-focused experience in a related or unrelated area.
  • Full UK driving licence.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
