Job Title: Environmental Enforcement Officer
Job Summary: As an Environmental Enforcement Officer with National Enforcement Solutions, you will play a vital role in protecting the environment from crime and promoting community safety. You will work closely with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to prevent environmental crime and antisocial behaviour.
About the Role: As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting patrol duties on foot and by car to deter crime and reassure the local community
- Developing community knowledge to identify individuals and locations at risk of being affected by environmental crime
- Working alongside communities, liaising with community groups and individuals to provide engagement, education, and enforcement
- Conducting initial investigations, gathering evidence, and completing statements to support enforcement action
- Preparing cases for court and presenting case files to senior officers and the local authority
- Submitting internal crime reports and criminal intelligence reports to support environmental crime reduction objectives
- Gathering, recording, and analysing intelligence to achieve environmental crime reduction objectives and provide crime prevention advice
- Enforcing littering, dog fouling, fly tipping, domestic and commercial duty of care

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full UK driving licence
- A DBS check prior to employment
- A full five-year checkable work history
