About the RoleThe Graduate Environmental Planner will be responsible for preparing planning applications, supporting statements, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and environmental appraisals. You will also contribute to annual monitoring reports, engage in internal and external meetings, and provide assistance to site teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare planning applications, supporting statements, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)
- Contribute to annual monitoring reports and engage in internal and external meetings
- Provide assistance to site teams and support planning and environmental initiatives
- Develop and maintain knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation, including EIA legislation
- Relevant degree in a field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Town and Country Planning
- Basic knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation, preferably including EIA legislation
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
- Report writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A valid UK Driving Licence
