Job Summary

About the Role
This role involves providing financial support to the management team, including creating new supplier and customer accounts, processing purchase invoices, and reconciling supplier statements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A starting salary of up to £26,000 per annum is available, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create new supplier and customer accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and sales invoices in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding unmatched invoices and provide analysis on overdue creditors and debtors.
  • Deal with telephone and email queries from suppliers and customers.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken, and be able to work well in a team. They will also have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A demonstrable ability to learn new systems and processes is essential, as is the ability to use initiative and apply problem-solving skills where appropriate.
