Larkmead Veterinary Group is seeking a talented Veterinary Practice Financial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our staff. If you have experience in an Accounts team or strong administration background, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, we encourage you to apply.

Your responsibilities will include managing purchase ledger administration, preparing weekly payments, reconciling Supplier Statements, and downloading bank transactions daily. You will also be responsible for posting and reconciling petty cash, credit card postings, and providing support to sales ledger. Additionally, you will monitor the accounts email inbox and assist with customer queries when required, attend team and practice meetings, and undertake other projects as requested by your Team Leader.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize your workload effectively. You must also be able to review financial data, problem-solve, and make decisions. We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated range of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 5 working weeks of annual leave, loyalty holiday buying scheme, and profit-related bonus scheme.
