We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Paralegal to join our Mortgage Enforcement Team in a contract capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage enforcement and be able to support our team in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of repossession files, referring legal aspects to the Team Supervisor or Team Manager.
  • Prepare communications and legal documents.
  • Process new matters using a case management system.
  • Use the case management system to action workflow entries on a daily basis and from the schedule for individual files.
  • Regularly update clients on the progress of matters.
  • Ensure all matters are billed promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Previous telephone handling experience.
  • Demonstrate a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with clear diction.
  • Proactivity and attention to detail.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
