Job Title: Contract Paralegal

We are seeking a skilled Contract Paralegal to support our Lender Sales team in Bristol. Our team deals with the sales of properties that have been taken into possession, involving traditional conveyancing with a twist.

This role is an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension or more permanent contracts. You will work on a day rate via an Umbrella company and be based in our Bristol office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own caseload of sale files, referring legal aspects to senior team members
  • Prepare communications, contracts, and documents as instructed by senior fee earners
  • Process new matters using our case management system
  • Use the case management system to action workflow entries on a daily basis and from the schedule for individual files
  • Regularly update clients and asset managers on the progress of matters
  • Ensure that all matters are billed promptly at exchange
Requirements:
  • Previous administration experience
  • Previous telephone handling experience
  • Demonstrate a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with clear diction
  • Proactivity and attention to detail
  • Organisational and time management skills
