Maths and SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work with students who require additional support in Maths, providing one-to-one and small group tuition in a mainstream setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Maths and a desire to inspire students. Experience of working with students with special needs is highly valued, but not essential. We offer a supportive and dynamic environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Maths tuition to students who require additional support
  • Work with students in small groups and one-to-one
  • Develop and implement Maths lesson plans
  • Assist with the development of Maths resources

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Maths or a related subject
  • Strong passion for Maths and a desire to inspire students
  • Experience of working with students with special needs (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
