Job Title: Nursing Assistant Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Assistant Practitioner to join our Digitaltidewave team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, support Registered Nursing Staff, and maintain patient dignity and privacy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  • Support patients with complex care needs, including personal care, hygiene, and sanitary requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure accurate documentation of patient information, facilitating effective communication.
  • Identify and address skin and pressure area care needs, implementing measures to prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Contribute to therapeutic recreational activities for patients, promoting physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare staff, ensuring open communication and empathy.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control guidelines.
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns in patient condition to the responsible nurse.
  • Support registered staff in taking and recording vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Implement measures to protect individuals from abuse and report any suspicions.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a passion for maintaining patient confidentiality.

The salary for this position is approximately £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
