Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. This includes managing an existing portfolio of customers and attracting new customers.

The focus will be upon our suite of Farming and Commercial General Insurance products and services. At the core of our approach lies the cultivation of strong relationships and the practice of cross-selling to ensure our customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who uses face-to-face sales experience to consistently achieve retention and sales targets. A passion for rural living and agriculture is essential, as well as existing sales experience, especially agricultural/farming or commercial related.

In addition to a competitive starting salary of £30,000+, the role offers a commission split bonus scheme for new policies sold, pension scheme contributions, and a comprehensive on-going training and personal development program.

The ideal candidate will have effective negotiation skills, network & customer relationship building skills, and a full UK Driver's license. They will also be rewarded with 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, plus 2 additional days during Christmas week, and increased holiday entitlement after 5 and 10 years of service.
