Join Our Team as a Casual Archaeologist

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic archaeologists to join our team on a casual/temporary basis for an excavation project in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, and Wales. As a casual archaeologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, developing your skills and expertise in commercial archaeology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct archaeological fieldwork, including excavation, survey, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in commercial archaeology
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 months of site experience in commercial archaeology
  • Relevant degree in archaeology or equivalent experience
  • Driving license and own vehicle for business use
  • Full PPE, health and safety induction, and excellent subsistence package provided

Hourly Rate: £12.82-£14.19 (inclusive of holiday pay) for Field Archaeologists, £14.41-£14.90 (inclusive of holiday pay) for Senior Field Archaeologists
