Research Associate in Bayesian Modelling for Anti-Doping

This is an exciting opportunity to join our research team as a Research Associate in Bayesian modelling for anti-doping with Professor Jim Griffin (UCL) and Professor James Hopker (Kent). The project aims to develop and apply Bayesian statistical methods for joint modelling of elite athlete performance and biomarkers using longitudinal random effects models. This research is backed by the World Anti-Doping Agency and involves close collaboration with international partners.

The position provides an estimated salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.

Key Tasks:
  • Implement Bayesian statistical methods for data analysis
  • Work closely with professors and other researchers to advance the project
  • Present research findings at conferences and workshops

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Statistics or related field
  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and R programming language
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
