About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Tree Consultant to co-lead the provision of specialist planning advice, highway tree management, and large-scale arboricultural assessments and surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and review complex plans, policies, and guidance">
  • Manage high-value projects and contracts against budget, specification, and indicators">
  • Build high-level client relationships and maintain commercial awareness of the industry">
  • Lead specialist and multi-disciplinary project teams, managing multiple projects from concept through to completion">

Requirements:

">

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (RQF level 6) or equivalent by experience, with a strong background in arboriculture and project management. They must be a qualified Professional Tree Inspector, with comprehensive knowledge of development management and planning policy, legislation, and enforcement standards and guidance.

Able to possess excellent people management skills and commercial awareness of the industry.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience

">

This is a full-time, permanent contract based in Chelmsford Office, with hybrid working arrangements.
