Arboriculture Service Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Arboriculture Service Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality arboricultural services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of development management and planning policy, legislation, and enforcement standards and guidance. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and teams, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of arboricultural services, including specialist planning advice, highway tree management, and large-scale arboricultural assessments and surveys
• Manage a demanding caseload of enquiries and develop strategies to drive commercial growth
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., forestry, arboriculture)
• Qualified Professional Tree Inspector with strong evidence of continuous professional development
• Comprehensive knowledge of development management and planning policy, legislation, and enforcement standards and guidance
• Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Estimated salary: £51,000 - £61,000 per year.
