We are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Training Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with an interest in Laparoscopic Surgery to join our team.

The department has a strong reputation in numerous areas such as Urogynaecology, Gynae-oncology, Fetal Medicine, Ambulatory Gynaecology, and BSGE accredited Endometriosis Centre as well as a centre of excellence for both undergraduate and postgraduate education.

The role will be twinned with a consultant who has time allocated in their consultant job plan and will also be a mentor in laparoscopic surgery.

The post is for an Advanced Laparoscopic Fellow with laparoscopic simulation to work closely with the Consultant lead for simulation and surgical champions.

The University Hospital North Midlands offers services at both the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites; this post shall cover clinical activity in both areas.

You will participate in the registrar on-call rota which is currently 1:12 (subject to change as we recruit into posts).

Should the candidate require continued training and assessment, we can offer the following ATSM training as post CCT: - Fetal Medicine, Maternal Medicine, Advanced Labour Ward, Labour Ward Leadership and Gynae-oncology. Other ATSMs may be negotiable after discussion. All ATSMs can be provided within the RCOG ATSM framework.
