We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team at HMP Altcourse, a category B male prison located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality support to our Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work across specialist areas, gaining valuable experience and developing your skills in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to the supply, preparation, and assembly of medicines under the direction of the responsible Pharmacist.
  • Contribute to services such as medicine reconciliation, managing stock medicines, and transportation of medicines.
  • Support the safe and secure management of medicines, following policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
