About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Repairs Surveyor to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our assets department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient technical services within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct property inspections and risk-based assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage repair projects, including budget planning and resource monitoring
  • Collaborate with tenants and stakeholders to provide expert advice on health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise IT/ software to improve the surveying service
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a repair surveyor in social housing
  • Expertise in housing and property service maintenance and refurbishment
  • Proficiency in budget planning and resource monitoring
  • Experience in managing construction work, including subcontractors
  • Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs

As a Senior Repairs Surveyor at Hays Construction and Property, you will enjoy a competitive salary between £40,477 - £43,600 per annum (dependent on experience), opportunities for professional growth and development, and support with RICS or CIOB qualifications.
