About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our assets department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient technical services within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct property inspections and risk-based assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage repair projects, including diagnostics, structural defects, and insurance work
  • Collaborate with tenants and stakeholders to provide expert advice on health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a repair surveyor in social housing
  • Expertise in housing and property service maintenance and refurbishment
  • Proficiency in budget planning and resource monitoring
  • Experience in managing construction work, including subcontractors
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
