About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our software engineering team in London. As the Head of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for managing a team of 30+ software engineers and working closely with other department heads to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 30+ software engineers and 4 lead developers
  • Work with other department heads to ensure project success
  • Define and implement processes to improve team efficiency and maturity
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical stack, including NodeJs, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head of Software Engineering or similar role
  • Strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in NodeJs, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Python
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience managing teams of 20+ software engineers
