Role Overview:
The E-Billing Assistant plays a vital role in the production of invoices for patent and trade mark work at Dehns. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and timely invoices, working closely with fee earners to ensure seamless billing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Production of invoices and credit notes using Inprotech, adhering to client-specific requirements and special billing instructions.
- Collaboration with fee earners to ensure invoices are produced accurately and efficiently.
- Preparation of excel spreadsheets and scanning of documents for consolidated billing and e-billing tasks.
- Entering costs onto the Inprotech work in progress program.
- Production of paper or electronic cost reports and sending to fee earners for job pricing.
- Assistance with monthly filing duties and dealing with fee earner invoicing queries.
Person Specification:
- Highly motivated, organised, and efficient individual.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and multi-task effectively.
- Must be able to work independently to a high standard and as part of a team.
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Previous billing experience, preferably in an accounting environment.
- High levels of accuracy and numeracy.
- Previous experience in a Data Entry role.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) to an intermediate level.
