This is an exciting opportunity to manage a medium-sized team and oversee every aspect of the client-accountant relationship. The workload will be a mix of accounts and tax, as well as exposure to ad-hoc advisory projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing work-in-progress on completion of the job and alerting partners to issues on any overruns.
- Final review of corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate.
- Final review of accounts preparation.
- Involvement in business development and networking events.
- Managing the client-accountant relationship - forging strong links.
Requirements for the role include:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of accounting, tax, and audit.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including work-in-progress and billing.
- Demonstrable experience with positive staff management and mentorship.
- 5 years of practice experience and some management exposure.
